We bet you haven't seen anything like this before. Our customer wanted something different and this fits that bill. A 1972 K50 Blazer with almost everything custom including the roll bar. The ochre and white paint and interior give a familiar look from what Rtech Fabrications has done previously with The Duke.
Powered by a 12 valve Cummins and Dynamite Diesel Stage II injectors along with 40" Toyo Open Country M/Ts and 20" American Force G23 Zero wheels making The Bulldog beefy and ready to hit the pavement as well as the dirt.

THE PONDEROSA
Introducing the newest addition to our truck line, The Ponderosa. Taking our passion for building custom-never-built crew cabs to Chevrolet's 1964 to 1966 truck.
With the same lines and classic look the additional backseat and two doors will provide plenty of leg room.
With endless options for both drive train and interiors. Your truck - Your choice.
The white and green on the dash standout inside the Ponderosa. Some of the items to notice are chrome vents, deluxe tilt column steering wheel, 66' GMC sport buckets seats, Daytona weave nylon carpet, and climate control by Old Air Products
The Ponderosa is equipped with a 550 hp 5.9L 12 valve Cummins, NV4500 transmission, and NP205 transfer case. In addition there also is Mahle pistons, ported-and-polished head, COMP Cams camshaft, BD Diesel three-piece manifold and turbocharger, Bosch/Dynomite Diesel Stage 3 injectors, and K&N filter.
Nothing better than riding on Nitto Trail Grappler tires and American Force Wheels. The tires are 37x11.5 R20LT and the wheels are 20 x 8.25

Ponderosa has Bilstein 6100 Series Shocks with remote reservoir and dual shocks at all 4 corners.

These 6" Skyjacker leaf springs definitely help give the 8' height.
Dual Dana 60 front axle and Dana 70 rear axle, Offroad design front high steer, Redhead Steering Gear gear/box, and steel braided brake lines.
In the bed of the truck is custom Bedwood brand bed wood and Rtech fabricated crossmember to mount a gooseneck ball hitch
To help get into the truck a pair of power extended AMP running boards painted in silver were installed.
The Duke
This 1972 Chevy K50 crew cab started off as a C50 standard cab. With a custom third and fourth door, as well as the sunroof, bumpers, running boards, tilt bed, and designed central heat and A/C makes this build an award winning truck.
The 12V Cummins gives a remarkable soft ride considering it sits on 40" Nitto Trail Grapplers.
The highlander plaid is the first item that catches the eye in the sharp looking custom interior, followed by the leather wrapped steering wheel and double din dash.
The Duke is one of the most recognizable trucks today and here at Rtech Fabrications we continue to "Build Trucks to do Truck Things".
The Making of The Duke
This 1972 Chevy K50 is equipped with almost every modification you could ask for. From the sunroof to the custom interior and the Cummins engine and 40s all around, this truck does more than look amazing. It's built to do truck things like all of our trucks.
Installed a custom 4" exhaust.
The 5.9L 12 valve Cummins is adds to the wow factor.
The only tires for this truck are the 40x15.50R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers on KMC XD829 Hoss 2 wheels.

The seats come from a 2010 Sierra and are modified for an original look. And to help with that look the seats are upholstered in a highlander plaid, which is beautiful with the ochre paint color.
The Duke has a tilt bed, specifically designed for ease of access to the custom heating and air conditioning system.
The first K50 in our line of K50s we offer. The Drill Sergeant is unique in design with jerry cans on each side and the military sand color, giving the appearance of one bad-ass truck. But appearances are not everything. This 4x4 truck has a 350 motor, power steering, power brakes, custom aluminum wheels, custom front and rear bumper, running boards and custom suspension.

Taking the clean classic look of the 1967 to 1972 Chevy/GMC truck and turning it into a factory looking crew cab. The fourth door is an actual operational door. Custom built to your specifications. Offered as a Texas Longhorn which provides and additional 7 inches of leg room in the back for added comfort.
